Contribution to "Planning Knowledge and Research"

Extending the discussion on the conceptual relevance of planning culture in challenging contemporary contexts was a goal and outcome narrated through an interview post with Bish Sanyal from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

This discussion between colleagues from the Department of European Planning Cultures and the MIT Special Program in Urban and Regional Studies / Humphrey Fellows Program was initiated as a part of manuscript preparations by Robin Chang and Prof. Dr. Karsten Zimmermann for a chapter contribution in new publication Planning Knowledge and Research which is edited by Thomas W. Sanchez from Virginia Polytechnic and State University.

The interview which is summarized and posted on the EPC website, explores different values and motivations for exploring PC in an American context.
