Publication recognized with Award for Planning Excellence Merit in the Planning Publications and Media category by the Canadian Institute of Planners

Robin Chang (Department of European Planning Cultures) and her co-author Meg Holden (Simon Fraser University, CA), along with the editors and contributors to the sixth edition to Canadian Cities in Transition were recognized by the Canadian Institute of Planners with an Award for Planning Excellence Merit in the Planning Publications and Media category.

Their chapter departs from the sustainability challenge of sprawl through neighbourhood scale approaches towards urban resilience capacity building for climate change and sustainability. This is but one contribution from over 20 chapters curated by the editors Markus Moos, Tara Vinodrai and Ryan Walker to make Canadian academic work accessible to audiences including, students, practitioners and citizens.
